Shadow (“Shadow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a technology platform that enables users to connect and interact. We are committed to handling personal data in a responsible, lawful, and commercially reasonable manner.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use the Shadow mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Policy.

    Name, username, profile image, and other information associated with your account.
  • Contact & Authentication Information
    Email address or other identifiers used for authentication, account access, and security verification.
  • User-Generated Content
    Content you submit through the Service, including requests, task descriptions, messages, media, and other materials.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Location Information
    Approximate or precise location data may be collected when necessary to enable core Service functionality such as discovery, relevance ranking, routing, or task matching. Location data is not sold and is not used for third-party advertising.
  • Usage & Device Information
    Information about how you interact with the Service, including device characteristics, operating system, app activity, and feature usage.
  • Diagnostic & Log Information
    Technical data such as error reports, logs, timestamps, and IP addresses used to maintain security, reliability, and performance.

2. How We Use Personal Data

All service providers are contractually required to protect Personal Data and process it only in accordance with our instructions and applicable law.

The Service uses automated systems, including algorithmic and AI-based processing, to support functionality such as matching, ranking, translation, content analysis, moderation, and relevance optimization.

These systems may operate without human intervention and may produce probabilistic or imperfect results. Shadow does not guarantee the accuracy, fairness, or completeness of automated outcomes.

We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to safeguard Personal Data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Account Deletion & Data Requests

You may request deletion of your account and associated Personal Data through in-app controls or by contacting us. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
